Photographer Hao Nhien seeks to showcase feminine beauty in his second nude exhibition being held in HCMC from November 11-18.

“My models do not have perfect bodies… I tried to choose the best angles so that even an ordinary woman can feel that her body is a natural artifact,” he said.

Coming three years after his first nude exhibition ‘Tao Tac’ (Artifacts), ‘Tao Tac 2’ has 39 photographs of 10 women.

A former dancer himself, Nhien took photos showing the alluring lines of naked women in various dance-like postures.

The 45-year-old began his photography career in 2007 and has been pursuing his passion for nudes since 2012.

Tao Tac held in September 2017 was the first of its kind in Vietnam, and aroused public interest long before its opening since nudity has always been a touchy subject in conservative Vietnam.

But there have been an increasing number of exhibition of nudes in the last few years, with their artistic aspect finding recognition.

Tao Tac 2, on at the headquarter of the HCMC Fine Arts Association, 218A Pasteur Street, is open from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. daily.
