Russian troops arrive in Hanoi for Vietnam’s National Day parade
A contingent of Russian soldiers arrived at Noi Bai International Airport in Hanoi on Wednesday to prepare for their participation in Vietnam’s upcoming National Day parade on September 2.
Immediately after their arrival, units from Vietnam’s Ministry of National Defense coordinated with relevant agencies to assist the Russian troops with immigration procedures.
Colonel Phung Chi Cao, Deputy Chief of Staff of the Hanoi Capital Command, was present at the airport to welcome the delegation.
According to the latest information, military delegations from Russia, China, Laos, and Cambodia will take part in Vietnam’s National Day parade.
Delegations from Russia, Laos, and Cambodia have already arrived in Vietnam to prepare for the celebration.
The military parade commemorating the 80th anniversary of the August Revolution (August 19) and National Day (September 2) will take place from 6:30 am to 10:00 am on September 2 at Ba Dinh Square in Hanoi.
The event is expected to feature around 30,000 participants, not including marching forces, armed units, and civilian groups.
The parade will proceed through central streets such as Hung Vuong, Hoang Dieu, Kim Ma, and Lieu Giai.
