The Government of Vietnam has announced a new visa exemption policy for citizens of Poland, the Czech Republic, and Switzerland, effective from March 1 to December 31, 2025. This initiative is part of a broader tourism stimulus program aimed at enhancing Vietnam’s appeal as a travel destination.
According to the resolution, citizens from the specified European countries will be allowed to enter Vietnam without a visa for stays of up to 45 days, provided they meet the country’s legal entry requirements.
This policy applies to travelers participating in itineraries organized by Vietnamese international tour operators, regardless of passport type.

Prior to this announcement, Vietnam had been extending visa exemptions to citizens of 13 countries, including Germany, France, Italy, Spain, the United Kingdom, Russia, Japan, South Korea, Denmark, Sweden, Norway, Finland, and Belarus, with a maximum stay of 15 days.
The inclusion of Poland, the Czech Republic, and Switzerland, along with the extended 45-day stay, signifies Vietnam’s commitment to diversifying its tourism markets and attracting more visitors from Europe.
Strategic Move to Boost Tourism

Travelers from Poland, the Czech Republic, and Switzerland are advised to confirm their eligibility and ensure they meet all entry requirements when planning their trips during the specified period.

It also aligns with Vietnam’s broader objectives of promoting sustainable tourism and enhancing its global connectivity.
